Sox win on Canada Day

Regina 14 at Medicine Hat 2

The Red Sox came into this game well rested as Mother Nature provided the team with an extra day off on Friday. 
 
Regina’s well rested bats delivered 13 hits in their 14-2 win over the Medicine Hat. Regina improved their record to 16-7 while the Mavericks dropped to 13-12. 
 
1,079 were on hand at Athletic Park to watch Mavericks Chris Rodriguez pick up a team high two hits. For Regina Griffin Keller and Broderick Rodocker each belted out three hits in a winning clause. 
 
Tanner Helms picked up the loss for Medicine Hat. Jordan Scott from Liberty University got the win to run his season record to 3-1. Scott had an impressive seven innings allowing two runs on eight hits. He also struck out five in the Red Sox victory.
