The Sox were once again led by their top hitter Jackson String (.431) (Player of the Game) at the plate. Jackson was 4 for 6 with 4 RBI. Matthew Fox (.352) had an outstanding game as well going 4 for 5 with 3 RBI. Players have 2 hit nights were Justin Carinci (.356), Kody Hanna (.363).
Sox ace Daniel Crabtree was stingy once again earning the win, his 4th win in 8 games started. Crabtree (2.96 era) pitched 6 innings allowing 1 run on 6 hits and struck out 5 batters. Vittorio Iacobucci (3.38 era) is proving to be very reliable in middle relief pitching 1 inning and allowed 1 hit. Josh Castillo pitched a clean 8th inning and Carson Bassett pitched the 9th inning. Swift Current scored 6 runs in the top of the 9th off Bassett as he struggled to find the strike zone.
