The Red Sox hit the road Wednesday night in Weyburn and continued to rack up the runs. The Sox scored 12 runs on 15 hits and committed 1 error enroute to a 12-6 win over the Beavers!

Matthew Fox made his first start of the season and pitched 3 2/3 innings allowing 3 earned runs on 6 hits. Fox struck out 4 batters and walked one. Oliver Barkal earned the win in middle relief pitching 2 1/3 innings and struck out 1 batter while allowing 2 earned runs. Zander-Oudie-Senger chipped in pitching the 8th inning and Angelo Franco pitched his first inning of the year closing out the game in the 9th. Weyburn starter Tyler Pechetti was tagged with the loss pitching 5 innings and allowed 8 Regina runs.

 

Justin Syring was named Sox player of the game as he continues to tear up WCBL pitching. Justin was 3 for 5 with 4 RBI and struck out once. He had help from his friends with multiple hit games from Justin Carinci (3 for 4) Jalen Meyers (2 for 4) Kody Hanna (2 for 5) Deigo Aragon (3 for 4)

The Sox head to Moose Jaw to play the Millers Thursday night before returning to Regina Friday Night for their first meeting with Medicine Hat Mavericks. Game time 7:00 PM in a division first place show down! tickets.reginaredsox.com
