The Sox dropped game 1 of the best of 3 series to Mosse Jaw Wednesday night in front of 1110 fans!

This was an exciting game that saw the Sox try and mount a late game rally to win the game. The game had a little bit of everything and kept the fans on the edge of their seats.

There was some great defense on both sides, a homerun by the Millers, and controversial bases loaded balk call by Sox pitcher Colton Anderson with bases loaded and the Miller baserunner attempting to steak home.  The runner was thrown out at the plate when Anderson quick pitched home but the “men in blue thought otherwise”. The crowd clearly thought it wasn’t a balk and let their voices be heard for a couple of innings.

To add to the drama star hitter Jackson Syring was hit in the head with a pitched ball that likely broke his nose. Initially he refused to leave the game and stole second and eventually scored ignited his teammates and the crowd. He had to be replaced in the 8th and headed to the hospital. He is likely doubtful for game two.
