Sox bang out 16 hits and hit 4 home runs in 12-9 loss
On a night when the Red Sox bats were sending 4 balls out of the park the Red Sox pitching wasn’t up to the task!
Kody Hanna hit two home runs and Deigo Aragon and Kaleb Lemos belted a homer each. Several other Sox players added to the hit parade.
Red Sox pitching allowed 15 hits and gave up 12 runs and most nights that is a going to be a tough game to win. Ayden Page started and had the no decision. Josh Castillo had a nice body of work going in middle relief before surrendering a couple of hits including a home run and likely should have left the game a batter or two earlier. Colton Anderson was tagged for the loss pitching the bottom of the 8th inning allowing 2 runs on 4 hits.
The Sox remain 3.5 games ahead of the Mavs in first place in the East Division.
