The Sox traveled down highway 6 to Weyburn and suffered a 5-1 loss to the Beavers which ended the Beavers 17 loss streak!

 

Pitching

Weyburn starter Ian Heck pitched 7.2 innings and only allowed 1 run on 7 hits and struck out 10 Sox batters. The Sox were only able to generate the 1 run on 8 hits in the end.

Regina starter Holden Hungerford made his last start for the season before heading home to get registered at a new school for the fall. Holden pitched 5.1 innings allowing 4 runs on just 4 hits and struck out 5. Weyburn did all their damage in the bottom of the 6th inning when Weyburn scored 4 runs on 3 hits with 2 coming on a 2-run homerun. The bullpen did a nice job allowing just two hits along the way.

Offense

5 Regina batters accounted for the 8 hits. Jackson Syring, Brady Bye, and Danny Gonzalez all had 2 hits nights. Singles game form Jackson Romero and Silas Butler. Bye and Gonzales each drove in two runs. Gonzalez was named player of the game.
