The Red Sox failed to complete the sweep of the Medicine Hat Mavericks Thursday night. Regina jumped out to a 5-2 lead by were unable to hold it. The Mavs scored 3 in the 6th inning and 1 in the 7th inning to move ahead 6-5 and held the lead the rest of the game.
Starter Preston Tenney pitched 5.2 innings allowing 9 hits and allowed 5 runs. Klevert Martina from Curacao made his first appearance after just arriving and pitched 1.1 innings allowing no runs on 1 hits. Zane Pollon pitched the bottom of the 8th and kept the inning clean retiring the side.
Nate Bach hit his 6th homerun of the year. A solo shot in the 3rd inning. Jackson Alaniz had a 2 hit night going 2 for 4 and 1 RBI! Regina stays above .500 for the year and remain in 2nd place in the East Division. Next action is friday night in Moose Jaw 7:00 PM start
