It was a wild a wholly game in MJ Sunday afternoon. The game saw both teams go scoreless the first inning and then look out. The Red Sox exploded for 10 runs in the 2nd inning and Moose Jaw replied with 1 run in the bottom of the inning. Travis Johnson hit a grand slam to cap off the 10 run outburst. The table was set by a series of walks and errors by the Express. Eventually it caught up to Moose Jaw as Travis hit his homerun in his 2nd at bat of the inning.
Andy Cook started the game for Regina and only pitched 3 innings allowing 7 earned runs. Regina made a pitching change to Kade Douglas who allowed 2 runs on 6 hits . Zane Pollon was effective over 3 2/3 innings allowing 2 hits and surrendered no runs earning himself the win!
Moose Jaw out hit the Sox 15-9 but the 4 errors and multiple walks were their downfall. Michael Zinter had a nice 3 hit day driving in 4 RBI to match Travis Johnson’s 4 RBI game. Kendall Keller was 3 for 4 and Regina had singles from Zane Zeelinski, and Karsten Vasquez.
