The Sox jumped on the back of starting pitcher John Henry and cruised to a 7-1 win over Weyburn Wednesday night. The Whitby Ontario native pitched a complete game allowing 4 hits and 1 earned run over 9 innings. John struck out 8 Weyburn batters and walked 2.
Offensively Michael Zinter led the charge going 2 for 4 and driving in 3 runs. Zane Zielinski was 2 for 5 and Dylan Edmands was 1 for 4 with 1 rbi and 2 runs scored. Chase Taylor and Mike Kenney chipped in with 2 hits each.
The Sox play in Swift Current tonight against the 57’s at 7;00 PM at Mitchell Field!
