Saturday Evening in Fort McMurray!
The Sox jumped on the scoreboard early but gave up the lead in the 4th inning only to tie the game 3-3 in the 5th inning. Fort McMurray scored two runs in ea. of the 6th, 7th and 8th innings and the Sox chipped away but came up short.

The game started at 2:00 Pm local time under clear skies. The Sox rolled into Edmonton from Fort McMurray just before game time and hoped to top of the road swing with a win. The Sox Road swing ended with 2 wins and 2 losses after dropping the game 7-6. Sox pitcher Zander Oudie-Senger was tagged with the loss pitching 2 1/3 innings allowing 5 runs on 2 hits. Oliver Barcal pitched 2 2/3 and Matthew Fox made his first appearance on the mound pitching 3 innings of no-hit baseball.
Offensively Sox 1B Kody Hanna was 2 for 5 with 2 RBI . Right Fielder Jackson Syring was 3 for 4 , CF Silas Butler was 2 for 4 and Jalen Meyers was 2 for 5.
Next action is Tuesday at Currie Field when the Sox host the Swift Current 57’s. Game time 7:00 PM
